Protecting God's Children
St. Gertrude Church and School follow the Archdiocese of St. Louis Safe Enviroment Program (Protecting God's Children). The program is designed to help protect the youth, elderly, and vunerable adults of our parish as they participate in activities within our community. This process also provides a layer of protection against the possiblility of false accusations for those adults who are in our many ministries.

Anyone that works or volunteers with children, or vulnerable adults in our parish or school, is requiried to attend the Protecting God's Children Workshop. This inclueds Parish and school employees, parents, grandparents of children, scout leaders, coaches, room parents that want to volunteer or attend field trips (including the PROLIFE Trip.)

Go to the bottom of the page and click the Protecting God's Children link

On the next page, click "View Workshops" this will send you to the Virtus Online page and will give you a list of workshops available in the St. Louis Archdiocese.

Once you find the one you want to attend, click "Start Registration" at the tip of the page.
5.
Create a user name and password, answer the couple of questions and submit.
6.
After you register, your name will be put into my database
After you have attended the workshop, please let Michelle Gildehaus at St. Gertrude parish office know you have completed it .
