From the Missourian Newspaper
" Members of St. Gertrude Parish at Krakow indicated in a poll Sunday that they favored adding two rooms and restrooms to their school building to handled increased enrollment rather than seek other alternatives. "
Snow Make Up Days
The school board met and discussed snow day make-up options. It has been decided that in order to get our number of days closer to the required minimum we will now attend school on:
March 14, Friday – Originally a faculty retreat day.
March 17, Monday – Originally a Region 8 Day of Prayer
April 21, Monday – Day after Easter
In order to get 6 more hours of instruction in (which is equivalent to almost a full instructional day) we will also go full days the next 3 scheduled early dismissal Wednesdays instead of dismissing early for faculty meetings.
These changes barring any more snow days will allow us to keep our last day of school as originally scheduled on May 23. If by chance we have another snow day we will have to extend our school year past the Memorial Day holiday.
