St Gertrude School is blessed to have dedicated members of its parish board of education, also known as the school board. The school board functions as an advisory board to the pastor and principal. Its main purpose is twofold:

 

• To advise the Pastor and Principal in developing, guiding and revising policy for the parish educational program.

• To defend the Pastor and Principal implementing in implementing the procedures which reflect the policy.

• The school board can develop policy in the areas of finances, strategic planning, marketing, and mission.
